Community safety talk in chapel

 This morning, PCSO Green and PCSO Woodruff had the pleasure of attending the Tea and Chat group in Chapel‑en‑le‑Frith.

We gave a talk on staying safe, the role of the Safer Neighbourhood Team, and how to spot and avoid scams. This led to a really positive and engaging discussion, with lots of questions and conversations about the issues and concerns that matter most to those attending .

These sessions are so important – sharing information helps people feel informed, reassured, and confident about keeping themselves safe .

We also talked through what to do if you receive unexpected door‑to‑door callers, and explained the different ways to report information or concerns to the police .

Thank you to everyone at the Tea and Chat group for such a warm welcome – we really enjoyed meeting you all .
